Here's a classic chocolate chip cookie recipe:

Ingredients:

- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 tsp baking soda

- 1 tsp salt

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 3/4 cup white sugar

- 3/4 cup brown sugar

- 2 large eggs

- 2 tsp vanilla extract

- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.

3. Beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).

4. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.

5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.

6. Stir in chocolate chips.

7. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.

8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.

9. Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Enjoy your delicious chocolate chip cookies!

(Note: You can also use a stand mixer or a hand mixer to cream the butter and sugars, and to mix the dough.)
